This is a male dobsonfly, one of the largest insects in the world. There's about 50
different species with this Asian Dobsonfly [Acanthacorydalis Fruhstorferi] being
the largest with a wing span of over 8". Males have large formidalbe looking mandibles
while the females have smaller but stiffer mandibles. If fact, you are more likely to
receive a bite that breaks the skin from a female because of this. Either way, the
bite is not poisoness and dobsonflies are considered harmless to humans.

Steve: "Did you know the female dragonfly will fake their own death if a male dragonfly tries
to make a move. This is true. You can look it up. I've known a few women who have done that."
